HISTORY

After a bi-coastal American childhood, Pacchini circumnavigates the world of art and design using beautiful, unique and perfect as her lodestars.

Her father urged her into New York’s antiques shops, auction houses, museums and galleries, recognizing her passion for creating an environment of personalized serenity, comfort and beauty.

After earning a BA in art history and painting at Denison University, Laura spent a post-college sojourn in Europe, working and studying at the Hermitage Museum in Moscow, the Uffizi Gallery in Florence and the Royal Academy in London, where she lived at the Chelsea Arts Club. Returning to California, she studied at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. She began working in 2-D form as an art director for Saatchi+Saatchi, New York, before designing for Landor Associates and Williams-Sonoma, both in San Francisco, where she has settled.

Steeped in the knowledge of art and furniture, Pacchini is dedicated to the experience, color, texture and impact of the interior environment. She has
artnered with galleries, art and furniture dealers as well as artists and designers worldwide. Today, Pacchini paints from personal and art historical references — bringing life to canvas and paper alike.
